Two quick checks before posting: try clearing your browser cache, and press SHIFT+O on any Staff Panel page to enter Safe Mode (a stock osTicket with no enhancements). If the problem still shows in Safe Mode, it's in osTicket itself, not osTicket Awesome. But let us know about the issue either way.

Hi,
I tried to install the update to osTicket-1.17.2 but I received an error message in Plesk when I tried to unpoack the zip file.
7zip also shows a message that the "file end is unexpected".
It unpacked it though.
See here:

But I think I can not be 100% sure that the zip file is fine and nothing is missing.
So I stayed at 1.17 for now.
Can you please check this and upload a corrected zip file?
The update to 1.17.2 is very important for us because 1.17 has these annoying email isues causing our email to be rejected or treated as spam.
Thanks
Alex
Wow, I have no clue what is going on. But I am having the same issue when I download the file from the server.
I zipped the files again and re-uploaded it. Same issue.
Thank you for the head's up. I will keep trying to sort this out.
But in the meanwhile, if you're anxious to upgrade, I would say to go for it.
The files are 207 MB (217,666,381 bytes) before zipping, and exactly 207 MB (217,666,381 bytes) after zipping, uploading, downloading and extracting. So I'm confident every byte is accounted for despite the error.
I think the issue is resolved! At least I don't get the error on my end anymore.
Yes, now it worked fine for me as well.
Thank you.
Thank you!

I was having this issue a few days ago, i noted if I switched from using Chrome to download it to Edge (or firefox) the problem went away...
